 Good news that 2 billionaire investors join Bank of Ireland Board 

 

 

For one of the main Irish banks to have 2 new board members of their experience should bring great benefits to this bank and may gradually have an affect on banking in Ireland, if they lead the way.

 

American banks have more experience of banking collapses than we do and with experience come the knowledge on how to deal with it. They treat the patient, administer the medicine and the patient recovers. Too many of the banks staff are dealing with heavy case loads of loans that won’t recover at the levels they are at and they are babysitting these cases.  This helps no one and has a demoralising affect on the staff and their customers.

 

Positive action has a better effect on staff and although unpleasant at times for customer, everyone comes out better in the end as the end is actually defined or reached.  It is time to move on and with bank policy decided at board level the new board members are a welcome addition.
